Ungar.Co Terms and Conditions
1.1 We require full payment for all store products to commence manufacturing and dispatching of products to customers.
1.2 Any quotes or invoices for custom orders are valid for 15 days and are subject to change. We reserve the right to alter any quotes or invoices if required, after the 15 days period. A 50% deposit is required when placing these orders. Full and final payment is required prior to delivery.

3. Lead Times
3.1 Whilst we endeavour to meet expected lead times, Ungar.Co will not be held responsible for extensions to lead times which, for various reasons, may occur.
4. Shipping and Delivery
4.1 Within Australia
(a) For orders over $300 we offer complimentary shipping within Australia. For orders under $300, a $30 flat shipping rate will be charged.
(b) Signature on Delivery
This is a trackable service and all deliveries must be signed for. We recommend customers provide a business address or somewhere you can ensure someone will be available to sign for the delivery between the hours of 9 am and 6 pm. Delivery times depend on your location.
(c) Large Products
Large or heavy items (Generally Custom Furniture, Small Area and Large Area Rugs, and any oversized Art & Sculpture) require a custom shipping quote, which will be emailed to you after your order has been received.
Alternatively, customers are welcome to request a custom shipping quotation for ‘Large Products’ via the enquire button prior to placing an order. We may also offer pick up of items from the studio at Hunters Hill NSW, if this is a convenient and available option for you and the items purchased. Please note, collection from the studio is not available on some items.
(a) For shipping outside of Australia, please email us or request via the enquire button, the charges for your country or area. Once your order has been shipped, a unique tracking number will be sent to your nominated email address for you to follow your order.
(b) Shipping fees for International deliveries do not include possible taxes and duties which may be applied by customs in the country where delivery is to be made. The responsibility for any custom duties, foreign taxes or other fees which may be imposed, will rest with the customer. We are also prohibited by law from marking the order as a ‘gift', even if the order is placed with the intention of sending to a gift recipient. Payment of these charges will be necessary to release your order from customs. For further information contact your local customs authority. (a) Unfortunately, at present we are unable to accept returns due to change of mind.
(b) In the unlikely event where an item or fabrication has a major manufacturing fault or has arrived not as described, UNGAR.CO will offer a repair, exchange or store credit. In this unlikely case, please contact the studio within 5 days of receipt of purchase to register your "Request for Return" via email to email@example.com. This does not include antique wears.
5.2 No returns will be accepted for:
(a) Any breakage caused by negligent and/or improper use of the goods
(b) Changes caused by normal wear and tear
(c) Any damage caused by lack of and/or erroneous maintenance
(d) Any damage due to an accident or force
(e) Degradation of finish caused by environmental factors
(f) Failure to properly maintain or store any Goods
(g) Use of any Goods after any defect became apparent or should have become apparent to a reasonably prudent operator or user
(h) Any products made with customers own fabric or leather
(i) Failure to follow care instructions or guidelines provided by the seller and/or as found on www.store.ungar.co
(j) Variations, as noted in clause 7. Variations
5.2 Antique Textiles & Artwork
The wonderful character flaws and faults found amongst our antique wears are due to their history and previous ownership. Every effort is made to highlight and photograph these characteristics before purchase, and these can all be found photographed and documented on the relevant style page. We welcome customers to magnify these images before purchase to ensure they are aware of an item's condition. We welcome questions regarding an item's history, age or character and these can be sent via email to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. All sales are final on these items and no returns will be accepted.
6. Pricing and Product Availability
6.1 We exercise great caution in trying to avoid errors in pricing and product Information. If such mistakes occur, we reserve the right to correct them. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
6.2 We reserves the right to change pricing at our discretion and without notice.
7.1 The Customer acknowledges that Goods supplied may
(a) exhibit variations in shade, colour, texture, surface, finish, markings and
may contain natural fissures, occlusions, lines, indentations and may fade
or change colour over time; and
(b) expand, contract or distort as a result of exposure to heat, cold, weather;
(c) mark or stain if exposed to certain substances; and
(d) be damaged or disfigured by impact or scratching.
7.2 Where the Customer specifies COM/COL, meaning a fabric not part of the manufacturer’s
regular collection, the Seller takes no liability for the performance or suitability of that material
even if the supplier has approved in principal a sample prior to production.
7.3 Full responsibility for the result of COM or COL upholstery remains with the Customer.
